An Entirely New Way to Use
Fiction Writing Prompts

Are standard fiction writing prompts boring you? Leaving you uninspired?

What if you found a book that simultaneously helped inspire you, helped you beat writer's block, overcome procrastination, helped you learn how to write dialogue and description, create settings, characters and plots? Would you buy it?

Who Says Writing Prompts are Only for Inspiration?

I don't know about you, but many of the lame fiction writing prompts I see don't inspire me, much less help me write better. Why not take writing prompts to the next level and practice not only only your discipline to
write daily, but the skills you need to write a novel and improve all your fiction writing?

Fiction Writing Prompts Book 1 Boost Your Novel Writing Skills: 365 Days of Fiction Writing Prompts to Tease Your Muse and Practice Your Craft is not a "calendar" in the true sense of the word, but a guide to better writing and a tome of miniature inspirations to spark your creativity.

From dialogue to viewpoint to description, to setting, plot and character creation, you'll practice and improve all the skills you need to write a novel or other fiction. (You may find it will improve your non-fiction writing, too, since many of the skills enhance both kinds of writing.)

Along the way to better writing, you'll also practice overcoming procrastination (if you make yourself follow the calendar and write at least a little each day). You'll also be conquering writer's block, the bane of many an author. Simply by using the fiction writing prompts to inspire short writing sessions and relax the mind into creative mode, you'll become a better writer.

Here are a few samples of what you'll find inside this amazing new twist on fiction writing prompts:

  • January 2: Write a short scene from first person viewpoint about being snowed in unexpectedly.
  • March 7: Create a male hero. Describe him, give him a few qualities that make him hero material, then give him at least one weakness.
  • July 4: What if... Someone knocks on your door. You open it, and don't, at first, recognize who it is. Then, when you do, you scream because... finish the scene.
  • September 14: Create an item of clothing that makes you do things you don't remember. Tell us in what situations it works, and if it works for everyone and all the time. Can you safely wash this item of clothing without it losing its power?

There are 361 more of those inside, so don't delay, Order the Fiction Writing Prompts E-Book Now!

The Concept Behind the Book

While I call this a "calendar", it is not tied to any particular year. Each month's prompts are laid out beginning with the "1st" at the top of that month's first page. You can jump in any time of the year, reuse the prompts another year, jump around... whatever suits you best.

This fiction writing prompts "calendar" is intended to be used as a tool to learn how to write a novel. One day at a time. Each day, you're given a writing prompt to tickle your imagination or hone your descriptive and creative skills.

You'll want to spend a minimum of fifteen minutes on each prompt. (Sometimes, you'll want to spend more, or find you have the seed of an entire novel bursting into your thoughts.) If some of them don't inspire you, make up your own prompt for the day. Just try to keep them limited to the skill practiced each day, or a skill you need to work on.

Use the tips that inspire you. Don't feel you need to use every one of them. Some will leave you scratching your head and not knowing anything to write (though making yourself write something anyway gives you the kind of discipline you need to complete a novel.)

However you do it, if you practice your fiction-writing skills this way, you'll be that much closer to writing your first (or eleventh) novel.

Above all, have a good time while you learn!

But How Much Will It Cost?

I'm not going to tease you into going to the order page to find out how much this marvelous e-book costs. (I hate sites that do that!).

You could find a place to send you free fiction writing prompts every
day (probably), but they wouldn't be geared toward practicing your
fiction writing skills at the same time. And some of them would likely
be pretty lame.

You could go online to free writing prompts sites, but many of these are geared toward elementary school children, and include silly things like making lists. How's that going to help you improve your novel writing?

Or, you can order Boost Your Novel Writing Skills: 365 Days of Fiction Writing Prompts to Tease Your Muse and Practice Your Craft and get 365 inspiring fiction writing prompts that will also encourage you to practice all the skills needed for writing a novel. Plus a glossary of writing terms used in the exercises.

All of this is yours for just $36.50.
